They are bad again! They traded Bjugy and McCann to the Penguins, so I hope those two enjoy the playoff experience for the first time, while Sidney Crosby carries them on his muscular back.

In return the Panthers got Brassard (desperately trying to help this team improve; failing) and Sheahan (a former Red Wing, so via checking in on that fandom I know he's useless, but I just now found out that he is HANDSOME*). They have not helped.

My dumb useless team! I love them and hate them in equal measure.

Coach Bob: still a Mafia enforcer, still unable to fix the wee trashkittens.

* he has what one friend of mine calls "That Exact Face that you love!" It's true. I gravitate toward That Exact Face on any man that has it, and I gaze, and I adore.

FWIW, Sheahan was less useless with us than he was that last year on the Wings. He scored more than two goals! And he's pretty decent on the PK. And Brassard just never fit with us at all, but he has a record of being a quite decent 2C. I think he was partly just cranky to be demoted to 3C and/or Sid's winger. Oh well, so much for depth. :\

I'm excited about Bjugstad, though! I already have a ship, even - with 5'11" Bryan Rust, winger who prides himself on playing with everyone. The Rust-Bjugstad-Kessel line scored two goals their first night together, so. :D And McCann has had a pretty good year so far, yeah? Or so I'd heard.

I've gone from being "ugh" about Brassard to hoping he gets to stay like he wants. LOVE HIM.

Sheahan is definitely handsome in exactly the way you like! He seemed like a pretty good dude for the year and a half he was on the Penguins, too, and not a BAD bottom six player, just not fantastic this season. Brassard was a mixed bag but I think could fit well for the Panthers for as long as they keep him. But yeah, this definitely seemed like a trade designed to hopefully make your trashkittens better in the future rather than this season <3 I am assuming that tonight either Sheahan and Brassard will both score or Bjugstad and McCann will, so we'll see how that goes.
